What to do with the rest of that product

NeckWe’ve all done it.  We bought a product and didn’t like it (smelled funny, made me breakout) then we add it to the growing pile of unused products that expire somewhere in a drawer or a basket in a closet.  Here’s a better idea.

Use it up on your neck.  Your neck always gets neglected even though it’s one of the most important areas to tend to.  Whenever I buy a product that my skin ends up rejecting, I use it up on my neck.  Your neck has less oil glands than your face.  So if a by-product of your skin not liking a product is a breakout, your neck is safe territory.

  1. Hi Nicole! If I buy a facial moisturizer or something similar & I can’t return it, I try to give it away to someone who can use it. If I can’t find anyone, I use it on my hands! That’s a trick I learned from my mother! I like your blog. You have great ideas!
