Day and Night Skincare Routine

Your morning skincare routine might vastly differ from your nighttime or be exactly the same.  If it’s exactly the same, it’s time to change it up. The needs of your skin at the beginning of the day should focus on protecting and at nighttime you want to nourish your skin.  Your daytime routine could look something like this:

  • Cleanser
  • Toner
  • Serum(s)
  • Face Oil/Moisturizer
  • SPF

I like to use a Vitamin C serum during the daytime to help with fading spots and also to brighten my skin. Being an antioxidant, it adds another layer of protection under your SPF to help fight free radicals and aids in collagen production.

For your nighttime routine, it could look something like this:

  • Cleanser
  • Toner
  • Serum(s)
  • Face Oil/Moisturizer

Not much of a difference between the routine itself.  The significant changes come from the type of serums, the number of serums and the face oils you use.  I always save on my cleanser and toner and splash out on my serums since they have the biggest impact on your skin and I like to layer them.
