My “try outs” always consist of deluxe or regular sample sizes. I get so many with my orders or because I specifically want to try out a product before purchasing the full size. This month had a few stand outs that I will definitely purchase the full size, if I haven’t already.
Whenever I watch youtube videos of my favorite bloggers and they do a monthly favorites video they always start off by saying “I can’t believe (whatever month it is) is already over.” They’re right! However, they have a luxury that I do not, which is they get to spend all of their time blogging while I still have a 9-5. I had to combine October and November since the time flew and here is what I tried and tested during those two months:
Welcome to a new monthly feature post! “Try Outs” showcases products that I’m currently sampling. I’m always trying lots of new products, as I showed in my last sample post. For me, presentation is everything when it comes to products of all kinds. Who hasn’t picked up a product simply because the container caught your eye? Packaging plays a large roll in every product line from how they are branded to how they sell their product to make the most money from it. I’ve heard a lot of people saying that they don’t like to use a certain cream that comes in a pot and that they would prefer it in a tube instead. Most don’t like the idea of sticking their fingers into their beloved cream time after time, and with good reason.
My skincare routine is always changing with the occasional can’t-live-without-staples or tried-and-trues that come back into rotation. It always contains my skincare basics: cleanser, toner, eye cream and moisturizer. I like to use one cleanser in the morning and a different one for at night. In the morning I want a gentle cleanse since I’m not removing layers of make-up like I am at night.
